1% for the planet

We are very proud to be part of 1% for the Planet ! 

As you already know, our guiding lign is to commit ourselves to the preservation of the environment. This is why we donate 1% of our turnover to NGOs that work daily to protect our earth and its oceans. The preservation of nature is an essential element for the survival of humanity. Ok, we are not in an American apocalyptic movie, but still, the planet is overheating.

In 2002, Yvon Chouinard and Craig Mathews created the 1% for the Planet philanthropic network, of which we are proud members today. Thanks to this international organization, 1% of the sales of all member companies is donated to associations and NGOs working to preserve the environment. Today, more than 315 million euros have already been dedicated to very concrete environmental actions! We all know: alone we go faster, together we go further.

Whatever our result, even if it is negative, we are committed to making a 1% donation. This annual donation can be made directly to the 1% for the planet network, which is responsible for distributing the amount to the various associations, or we can select the NGOs to which we wish to donate. 

At Cyclops, we have chosen the latter solution. And in order to involve you even more with us in this process of protecting life, we have decided to consult you at the beginning of each year to choose the associations that we will support.
